So, About Me......

My name is Tomi. I created Sketchy Sista Designs as a way to make a little money and help my family. 

My family and friends have always enjoyed my arts and crafts and advised I do something with them. After researching all across the world wide web and getting advice from some high-school friends, I thought I had finally figured out how I was going to make my 'millions". I created "Tomi's Bunkhouse". My own art designs clothing line. I was so excited, It quickly turned into something I was really proud of. As I grew I realized I would need to actually "brand" myself. With all the other "Tomi" companies I began to realize I wasn't going to stand out from them with a name like that, so Sketchy Sista Designs was born.

 Due to some medical conditions I am unable to maintain any sort of regular employment, so this is my way of helping. None of my conditions are immediately life threatening, they just prevent me from maintaining any long-term employment solution.

Now I have my name and my designs. Each design I create has a meaning and purpose. I take the emotion from the events in my life and turn them into designs and create symbols of hope, symbols to remind myself and others what we have overcome, the milestones we have passed and what we have achieved. I hope to bring hope, joy and happy memories with everyone I interact with. Life is too short not to enjoy every day we have.
